We were two Community Assistants working at and living in Arizona State University's "best" dorms - Arcadia, a student's communal restroom paradise. We were on a big staff with mutual friends yet never spent much time together. On January 17th, 2020 we were set to go out to ASU's iconic "Fauxchella" event with a couple of our friends. It turned out our friends were working that night and could not attend so we were left alone, both too awkward to cancel. That event was quite intimate as we made wax hands, crafted matching bracelets, and sat on the lawn listening to live music. It was our first date without us knowing it was. We walked back to Jolie's room and sat and talked for hours. It was clear to both of us that night that we had found something truly special. It was a great start to the 2020 year... as ironic as that sounds. We didn't know what the universe would have in store for us that year and the years that followed but we got through it every step of the way. From moving in with Jolie's family 2 months into our relationship during the pandemic, moving across the country together in 2021, and building a life back where it all started with our two dog sons, the one thing that has always been strong is our love, trust, and codependency LOL. We're so excited to have you with us to lock it in exactly 6 years later!
