Our story….. Janetta and I met through an on-line dating app….for the more mature but fun-loving crowd. Full disclosure…when I was scrolling through the most recent “potential match” file and saw her bright eyes and big smile at a Ducks game, I was intrigued. It wasn’t until sometime later that I reached out to her and asked if she would like to meet and she agreed! We decided that La Provance would be a good place to meet. And, after a little wrangling over the time and place we decided to meet at La Provance at 4:30, after school; Janetta is a teacher in Lake Oswego. It was February 28th, 2020...the day the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Lake Oswego; we decided early on that we weren't going to let that stop our budding romance! It seems that we both turned out to be “as advertised” and we really hit it off. We both golf, play tennis and racquetball, ski and bike ride. We had a golf date the following Sunday…and it snowed but that didn’t stop us! And we haven’t stopped since. She is a very kind, understanding and compassionate woman who at every turn serves as my “softener”…she effortlessly smooths my rough edges! I make her laugh and regularly test her patience! She makes me laugh and I still test her patience.
