Oscar first reached out to me, Janeth, through social media, and after exchanging messages for a while, we officially went on our first date on December 5, 2020. From the very beginning, we connected instantly—we talked for hours and truly enjoyed each other’s company. From that point on, we spent nearly every weekend together. On February 5, 2021, Oscar asked me to be his girlfriend, and so our journey as a couple officially began. Over the next few years, we dated, traveled, and created countless memories together. Eventually, we knew we wanted to take the next step in our relationship and decided to build a life together—literally. We began the process of building our home, dedicating many hours to bring our dream to life. Oscar handled most of the labor, while I contributed my ideas and planning—truly a team effort. Before the house was even complete, on April 29, 2023, Oscar asked me to be his wife—and of course, I said yes! The wedding planning began shortly after. We moved into our home in May 2023, and on September 22 of that same year, we had a civil ceremony and were officially married at the courthouse. However, it has always been important to us to celebrate our union in the Catholic Church and share this special moment with our loved ones. That is why we set the date for our religious ceremony and celebration: May 24, 2025. Since making that decision, so much love and effort has gone into planning this day. We are incredibly excited and truly grateful to be surrounded by our family and friends as we celebrate this beautiful chapter in our lives. We can’t wait to share this moment with all of you!

Oscar me contactó por primera vez a través de las redes sociales y, después de conversar durante un tiempo, tuvimos nuestra primera cita oficial el 5 de Diciembre de 2020. Desde el principio conectamos de inmediato: hablamos durante horas y disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra compañía. A partir de ese momento, comenzamos a vernos casi todos los fines de semana. El 5 de Febrero de 2021, Oscar me pidió que fuera su novia, y así comenzó oficialmente nuestra historia como pareja. Durante los siguientes años, salimos, viajamos y creamos recuerdos inolvidables. Con el tiempo, supimos que queríamos dar el siguiente paso en nuestra relación y decidimos comenzar a construir una vida juntos—literalmente. Iniciamos el proceso de construir nuestro hogar, dedicando muchas horas de trabajo para hacer realidad nuestro sueño. Oscar se encargó de la mayor parte del trabajo físico, mientras que yo contribuía con ideas y planificación—un verdadero trabajo en equipo. Antes de terminar nuestra casa, el 29 de Abril de 2023, Oscar me pidió que fuera su esposa—¡y por supuesto que dije que sí! Poco después comenzó la planificación de nuestra boda. En Mayo de ese mismo año comenzamos a mudarnos a nuestro nuevo hogar y, el 22 de Septiembre de 2023, nos casamos por el civil. Sin embargo, siempre supimos que queríamos celebrar nuestra unión ante Dios y compartir ese momento tan especial con nuestros seres queridos. Por eso elegimos el 24 de Mayo de 2025 como la fecha para nuestra ceremonia religiosa y celebración. Desde entonces, hemos puesto mucho amor y dedicación en cada detalle de este gran día. Nos sentimos inmensamente emocionados y agradecidos de poder celebrarlo rodeados de nuestra familia y amigos. ¡No podemos esperar para compartir este momento tan especial con todos ustedes!
