It is with heavy hearts Spencer and I have decided to postpone our wedding until September 5th, 2020. Amidst the uncertainty of the virus and government regulations, and with our guest's best interest at heart, we feel this is the right decision. We hope everyone is available to celebrate our love and commitment to each other on this new day.
Spencer and I met for the first time on a cold winter day (February 25, 2015, to be exact) in Tuscaloosa. It had been snowing and classes were canceled. A few of my friends invited me to Gallettes for Wine Wednesday. We were having a great time celebrating our day off from classes and Spencer and his friends also happened to be there that day as well. We ran into each other and I could not get over how handsome he was! We talked all night and exchanged numbers. We started texting casually for a month or so and he finally struck up the courage to ask me on a date to my favorite restaurant in Tuscaloosa, Depalmas. We sat at the bar and talked about our life goals. I think I may have shocked this small-town boy with all I wanted to do in my life. For the next few months we casually dated and July 7th, 2015 Spencer finally asked me to make it official! Over four years later, here we are getting ready to get married. Spencer is my best friend and partner in life and I am so glad God brought us together. We have been through the highs and lows together and he continues to show me his dedication to our relationship. He is selfless and always puts others before himself. I love you!
