Best Man
Mike and Matt first met in 5th grade when they began playing on the same basketball team. The two remained close friends despite going to different schools, and they ended up as college roommates. Many memories were created and shared, including the all the times Mike scared Matt as he rounded the hallway corners. Mike continues to be one of Matt's greatest supporters and even has had his arm twisted into helping Matt coach - again!
Maid of Honor
Shu and Janet first met in middle school, but their friendship truly blossomed on a walk in the pouring rain. Over the years, and many stylistic experiments with Vans and Hot Topic, they have continued to deepen their friendship over long walks and good food. They have agreed to never argue over the bill again and to split it- always.
Groomsman
Andrew and Matthew first met on July 28, 2001. Andrew has been a great brother for Matt and, now, a great brother for Janet. The three frequently hang out, often watching reality TV or Family Guy. Andrew and Matt have never fought or argued, nor have they ever been annoyed at each other :)
Bridesmaid
Mimi and Janet first met in high school where she was playing basketball and Janet was cheering her on in the stands. Hanging out at basketball games hasn't changed, as they now spend their weekends sitting courtside for the Foster City Flyers. This day would not be possible without Mimi, and we thank her for being the best wing woman out there.
Groomsman
Mitchell and Matthew first met in sixth grade playing basketball. Beyond sports, they shared many common memories like summer math camps, microwaving bars of soap, and most recently, exploring geysers. They will also send each other self assessments to most *accurately* diagnose each other.
Bridesmaid
Kyla and Janet first met on an incoming freshman University of San Francisco Facebook page. They were looking for roommates-- both loved football, food, and had October birthdays. They decided to take a shot and since then, they have connected through many boba and pho runs and (trauma) bonded over their sorority experience.
