To say that the Toledo Museum of Art's collection is impressive is to do it a disservice. Come check out the major name drops in the galleries and peruse the special exhibitions to get an idea of what Janet works on all day.

Haas Bakery
There are a lot of opinions in Toledo about who makes the best donuts and we are firmly in the Haas camp. This isn't your specialty donut shop. It's all about tradition here. Get yourself up early and grab a fresh yeast or cake donut that will make you think you're still dreaming.
Dairy Depot
Roadside soft serve stands are everywhere in Toledo and everyone has their favorite. Dairy Depot is the Madrozo family pick and Lucas has been getting swirl cones, freezes, and cyclones there since he was a kid.

This little strip mall gem is one of our favorite restaurants, serving the tastiest Thai noodles and curries.
The Leaf and Seed Cafe
Leaf and Seed, one of Toledo's most popular food trucks, recently opened a permanent location downtown. Their nachos are legendary in these parts. And you won't find anyone turning up their nose to this vegan cafe. This place is carnivore approved.
Cedar Point
We'll let Wikipedia tell you about Cedar Point: The park features a world-record 71 rides, including 17 roller coasters....It is the only amusement park in the world with six roller coasters that are at least 200 feet (61 m) in height....as well as the only one with roller coasters in all four height classifications. Cedar Point also received the Golden Ticket Award for "Best Amusement Park in the World" from Amusement Today for 16 consecutive years from 1997 to 2013.
Detroit
This is such a special city. We love any opportunity to hang out in Detroit and soak in the "Detroit Hustles Harder" vibe. If you're flying in or out of Detroit, consider supporting the revitalization of this great city by grabbing an authentic Detroit-style pizza or coney. Or check out some of the best murals in the Midwest while taking a stroll through Eastern Market.
Ann Arbor
Also nearby is Ann Arbor, home to University of Michigan. The city caters to the constant influx of college students which keeps it feeling forever young and vibrant. Take a walk downtown and check out the great and many restaurants, shops, bars, and venues.
