Philadelphia is known as "Mural Capital of the World" boasting over 4,000 murals citywide. Magic Gardens is an indoor outdoor space featuring wall to wall mosaic murals.
Brauhaus Schmitz
This is one of our favorite places to go on a date to have a salty soft pretzel and German craft beer. Their spicy mustard and cheese sauce is to die for. Philadelphia has a deeply-rooted connection to pretzels from 18th-century German immigrants.
Race Street Pier
We took our first bike ride in Philly together here where you can overlook the Delaware River from right down under the Benjamin Franklin bridge. Hersh enjoys going for runs here along the Delaware River Trail.
Reading Terminal Market
Philly's oldest Public Market with over 75 diverse, small, family-owned businesses providing freshly prepared food, chocolates/truffles, baked goods, Amish pretzels, and vast culinary items.
