We met on a rainy day in Oaxaca while visiting our parents’ hometowns. There was a dance on January 12, which happens to be Edgars birthday. . . Edgar was on his way to the toilet and he happened to spot me across the dance floor. He built the courage to ask me to dance and we danced all night together. Throughout the week we kept running into eachother and every time we found we had so much in common, our parents had grown up together and so many other things that intertwined our lives. . . Edgar promised we'd see each other again but not thinking much of it, we simply exchanged info and went on our way. A few months after, life brought me to Southern California — where Edgar happened to be too. And the rest is history.
