We met the modern way — through Instagram! I hit the follow button first (obviously), and Daniel accepted within minutes. It wasn’t until about two months later that he finally made his move by commenting on my story… about dessert. (Yes, it was clearly just an excuse to talk, and yes, it worked .) A week or two later, I decided to return the favor and replied to his story about a song he was listening to. From there, the conversation never stopped. Soon after, Daniel asked me out to Olive Garden for our first official date. Without even knowing what I drove, he somehow parked right next to me — coincidence or fate, we still debate it. After dinner, we went to the movies and watched Strangers, and from that night on… the rest is history 🤍
