Tony and I had both been looking for that special someone to no avail. We ended up meeting, of all places, online.! I had all but given up, but then, one day I saw Tonys profile and messaged him. Funny thing is, he liv ed only 5.8 miles from me but neither of us had seen each other's online profiles!! I asked if he'd like to meet for a drink later that day. He agreed and we decided to meet up at Silver Street Tavern. He was unlike anyone I had met, so gentlemanly and quite handsome!! We talked, laughed and had a very nice time. Afterwards, we went for a little walk down Main St., and over the Two Cent Bridge and back. We really hit it off and decided to go out again. He asked me out to eat at Joseph's Steak House the following evening. After dinner, in the parking lot, he kissed me and I was hooked!! Our next date was a boat ride on Webber Pond...we stopped at a little island and walked around...and did a bit more kissing!! We both knew by now, even though it had only been a few days, that THIS person was worth spending more time with. The following weekend I had a wedding I had planned for the daughter of a good friend and Tony offered to help me with all the prep. It was an all day affair and he was an amazing help. He kept notes with his phone and helped keep track of all there was to do. Once the decor and set up was done we rushed home to change and attended the wedding as wedding planners/guests. It was a beautiful wedding and we had the best time dancing and socializing. When Tony spied the brides grandparents on the dance floor he leaned over to me and said..."that's what I want". And that's when I knew I had found the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
