We met four years ago through my soon-to-be sister-in-law, Elise, and her husband Pat, Jack’s brother, at a work event. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into an easy connection. From the beginning, we bonded over our love for sports, family, food, and traveling, and it didn’t take long to realize we were on the same wavelength. After one date, we were basically inseparable. Before we even went on an official first date, I asked Jack to be my date to my work Christmas party after knowing him for about two weeks…… a bold move that somehow worked out perfectly. What felt natural from the start only grew stronger as we built a relationship rooted in laughter, support, and choosing each other every day.
