Jacob and Janessa met in 2016 at a Christian camp they worked at (more of the story on our about us page). Funny story, about a week before they started dating, Jacob and Janessa were at a mall with friends when Janessa said she wished she had found the person she was gonna marry, and Jacob agreed with her. Little did they both know, they were talking with each other in mind. Back in 2016 when they met, Jacob and Janessa began to build their friendship during a week working together on kitchen staff, through a shared interest in music. Two songs they sang a lot over the course of that summer were "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz and "What I've Been Looking For" from High School Musical. Many people on both sides saw the relationship coming, even if Jacob and Janessa were late to catch on. Jacob met Chris in 2011 as campers at Sky Lodge Christian Camp. Over the years, they developed a strong friendship through years as campers, staff, and roommates. If you see him at the wedding, ask him about: guitars, cars, why his name is Lindsay Lohan, Rick and Morty, and music.

Janessa and Moriah met at a VBS in 2003, and have been best friends ever since that day! Janessa asked Moriah longggg ago to be her maid of honor, so she already knew she had the role. .. Jonathan Jacob

Jacob met Jonathan Jacob, aka Jingle, in 2019 on the Emmaus Eagles soccer team. As one of his first friends at school, they spent alot of time together going to Walmart, doing homework, or going to soccer practices. Although Jingle is no longer an Emmaus student, he and Jacob keep in touch through many long hours of gaming. If you see him at the wedding, ask him about soccer trip hotel rooms, his own upcoming wedding, his nose job, or the time Jingle, Ben, and Jacob were all in quarantine together.

Kianna Alekperov

Kianna met Janessa at birth. And they've been together ever since. They've been told they look like twins so don't be surprised if that's the case when you see them. If you see her at the wedding ask her about: Tiktok, her dancing, her love for horror movies and birds.

Jacob met Ben in 2017 during Ben's first year on Zone Staff. While not instant friends, they have formed a solid and consistent friendship through years on staff, road trips, lots of movie nights, and attending Emmaus Bible College together. If you see him at the wedding, ask him about: his love of Adam Sandler movies, Spongebob, Minecraft, EMT, scrapbooks, the "tooth fairy," and the "pop culture 101" list.

Nevaeh met Janessa when she came with her up to the Florida hospital where Nevaeh had just been born. Nevaeh and Janessa like to play fight and argue but most of the time they're just hanging out. If you see her at the wedding ask her about: kpop, her lego robotics team, Roblox, her dancing,

Janessa met Chloe the same summer Janessa and Jacob met. They became friends and realized they had so much in common. The running joke was that Chloe and I were soulmates, that is until her brother took that place. Janessa and Chloe stay up late laughing and talking always.
