Our first encounter was while working a retail shift at Hershey's Chocolate World. We were randomly partnered up to work in an area together. This was the first time either of us had seen each other and it was instant butterflies. Being 16 and 17 at the time, we were both beyond nervous. After talking and getting to know each other for the next couple of hours, I asked for Andy's number in which he replied, "I don't know it, it's on the work contact list". As soon as my shift ended that day, I ran to find the contact list to text him right away. To my surprise, I got an instant reply. Every day since then we talked and got to know each other more each day. Not only did I find my best friend that day, I knew I found my future husband too.

We headed to Florida for spring break with his family. We usually stay at the same resort, but this vacation we were changing it up a little by visiting Disney World. I was super excited as this was my first time visiting Disney after years of wanting to go. We started the day in Animal Kingdom and ended it in Magic Kingdom. Going on the rides and experiencing everything Disney had to offer was amazing. The night ended in front of Cinderella's castle with the 50th anniversary firework and light show. It was absolutely beautiful. As the firework show ended I felt a tug on my hand and I turned around to Andy on one knee with a ring in his hand. I was so excited that my first response was "Are you joking?!". He laughed and as I said yes, he grabbed my hand to put the ring on my finger. It was such a special moment and the perfect way to end my first trip to Disney!
