Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! We decided to use the space we have and hold both events at The Millbottom in Jefferson City. There will be a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception where the bar will be open and snacks for everyone to enjoy.

What will be served?

Answer

We will be serving food from CoMo Smoke and Fire BBQ! We will have an open bar and serve Stag beer and pickles (for pickle stags), craft beer, and Winking Owl wine from Aldi. Please bring cash to tip the bartenders. We are wanting to avoid hard liquor for the wedding and request people to abstain from bringing their own. There will be plenty of beer and wine!

Where should we stay?

If you would like to end the night in Jefferson City, there are many hotels with great rates available there. Our families are staying at the Broadway Hotel in Downtown Columbia, which is a 30 minute drive. The Tiger Hotel in Columbia is another great option and there is a wide variety of other hotels and AirBnb's in the area.
