Cocktail Attire
We`d love for you to kick off the wedding celebration with us at our Welcome Party! Join us for an evening of charcuterie, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks on the penthouse floor overlooking Washington, DC. It will be a relaxed and joyful time to connect, unwind, and celebrate together before the big day. Our Friday Welcome Party at Rowan is accessible via the Red Line Metro. The closest station is Rhode Island Avenue–Brentwood station. Please note there is limited to no street parking available near the Welcome Party location. We strongly encourage guests to plan on using the Washington Metro or rideshare services such as Uber/Lyft.

Semi-Formal: Polished yet relaxed. Think elevated looks that feel comfortable for a Fall evening celebration.
Our ceremony will take place at the historic District of Columbia War Memorial, nestled near the Lincoln Memorial Monument and the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall. For ease, we recommend arriving by Uber/Lyft, as there is limited to no parking available near the ceremony location and no conveniently close Metro stations to the memorial. Upon arrival, please take a seat under the marble columns of the DC War Memorial. Please note this is an outdoor ceremony, and DC weather can change quickly, so we recommend bringing a light layer.
4:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Following the ceremony, guests will make their way to Mezè Restaurant in the vibrant Adams Morgan neighborhood for cocktail hour and dinner. Cocktail hour will take place from 4:30–6:00 PM with a full open bar and light bites, followed by a seated four-course dinner at 6:00 PM. The celebration will take place in the Mezè Gold Room on the third floor, which is accessible by stairs only. A private restroom will be available on the third floor for our guests. We encourage everyone to share Uber/Lyft rides whenever possible to help make transportation throughout the evening smooth and easy. We can’t wait to celebrate together at DC's oldest Turkish restaurant Mezè!
