Daughter of Honor
Being a girl with three brothers is not easy but she makes it look like it is. Vanessa has a way to make everything look easy, whatever she puts her mind to becomes a success. She is truly her mothers best friend, daddy's little girl, and her brothers nightmare like any good sister should be. Gone are the days of doing her hair five times because its too tight or now messy after loosening it, the days of playing in her kitchen with fake food, crying over dirty hands or clothes after. She makes her parents proud as a young adult displaying an exemplary work ethic, a love of God and Country.
Best Son
Being a first born builds a special relationship between parent and child, you learn mostly how not to be a parent by trial and error. Alex had his share with two young parents. to his credit he took most of it in stride. There were many days of push and shove on both sides, being a hard headed child with a hard headed mother made for some interesting years. Fast forward to the man that will walk his mother down the isle to his father, and stand by his side. Using his strong will to achieve many things, be it pushing himself to the limit at the gym or following in the path of his father as a deputy.
Maid of Honor
Was it fate or alcohol? Rudi met Heather as his first FTO, he her first trainee. They figured it out together and shared many shifts over the years, most good and some not so good but they always had each others back. Then there was a DSA dinner many years ago, so many we've lost count. Heather and Janelle became friends, and if you know us that's a rare thing. All it takes is liquid courage, and soon it became, "This is Janelle my friend, and oh Rudi's wife."
Best Son
Christian has always marched to the beat of a different drum, and loves doing it. Being a middle child with siblings who seemed to always have a plan on how to pin everything on him. Those lessons learned early have taught him, built many strengths. A fight to never give up and excel in his interests, never be average, find a way to stand out. Along with a fierce love of family, he has a huge heart and never afraid to show it.
Bridesmaid
On the streets of Calaveras County Monique and Rudi were partners fighting crime, and each other like brother and sister. Since she could be trusted with Rudi's life, in true blue family fashion they shared time together off the streets as well. Over the years Monique has shown to be a loyal friend to us both. always lending an ear, shoulder, or anything else that might be needed.
Best Son
Ben is the baby of the family in age not in size and enjoys reminding his siblings of it. He is the quiet thinker, quick witted, and will roast his family with burns of epic proportions. He has two parents who entrusted his siblings with the responsibility to help raise him as they tried to balance home and work. He never complained, he never asked why we didn't attend many open house or back to school nights, he just understood. An insightful old soul you could say, a keeper of the most random facts you have ever heard. Born into a full house he made our family complete.
