FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No children and no dogs. This event is 21 and up only.

Question

What’s up with parking?

Answer

There is limited parking at the venue, but street parking is available. We strongly urge everyone to use a ride share service. Or for the adventurous folks, city scooters and E-bikes can be rented.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Our wedding venue is near the Downtown Colorado Springs area. We have listed several nice hotels close by in the travel section. We would also recommend checking out Air BnB or VRBO to find a house for your stay.

Question

I can’t eat that…how will you know?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or sensitivities, please provide details on your RSVP, text us, or email your request to our wedding planner at erika@wedwitherika.com. Be sure to include your name, allergy or sensitivity, and let her know you are attending our wedding.

Question

Ahhh, what do I wear?!?

Answer

Get funky and fun!! We do not have colors so go crazy! Wear that outfit you’ve always wanted to but haven’t had the chance! Or wear what is most comfortable to you! We know you look fierce but we just want you to feel great and be able to dance. The terrain varies from sidewalk, gravel, and grass so we recommend comfortable shoes. And maybe bring a jacket or sweater for the evening hours…

Question

Damn, that’s a long day…

Answer

We recognize that this is a long day but when are we ever going to have everyone we love in the same place at the same time?!? So let’s do this!!! It’s a marathon not a sprint!

Question

What’s altitude???

Answer

Colorado Springs altitude is 6,033 feet above sea level! We want you to have THE best time, so pretty please: - Stay hydrated: It is recommended you add an extra 32oz of water to your daily intake for a few days before arriving in Colorado. - Stay rested: Take a nap when you can. Avoid sleep deprivation. - Be aware of how much alcohol you consume as the altitude can decrease alcohol tolerance, make you feel drunk faster (but sometimes you don't realize until you have consumed too much too fast!) - Eat carbs. Carbs help our body absorb oxygen better so be sure to eat up! - Wear Sunscreen! The air is thinner here making your skin more susceptible to the sun's harmful rays. Apply sunscreen frequently and liberally. People who travel to Colorado Springs from lower elevations may experience altitude sickness. Symptoms of Altitude Sickness include: Headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better! No later than August 31st please.
