Amanda worked as a trainer at Pro Club alongside both Joshua and Janelle and was there when they first met! She has been a constant presence in their lives, joining them at Pro Club holiday parties, Friendsgivings, Halloween parties, Pro Bro house dinners, as well as traveling to Thailand and sharing countless workouts at the gym. Through all these memories and more, Amanda has been a true friend and supporter. We are thrilled to have her by our side as we tie the knot!
Wade Brummett
Best Man
Wade and Josh have been close friends since high school, bonding over their shared interests in music, sports, and Wade’s role in teaching Josh how to party. They were also roommates at CWU, where they studied together. The first time Josh met Wade, he received some life-changing advice that he still tries to follow to this day: “Follow me if you want to have a good time!” Josh values Wade’s friendship for many reasons, but one trait he particularly admires is Wade’s unwavering commitment to nurturing friendships and fostering strong connections within their friend groups, day in and day out.
Alyssa Schultz

Alyssa first met Janelle when they were 16 and playing volleyball together! Their bond grew stronger as they competed at the highest level throughout high school, and they continued to shine as the dynamic Libero and Middle connection during their college years at the University of Idaho… GO VANDALS! Alyssa has been there for Janelle through high school, college, post-grad adventures overseas, and now adult life. She was even there when Janelle and Joshua first met, and the three of them, along with Jared, have had countless fun double dates! They can’t wait to have Alyssa by their side as they tie the knot!
Mac Brooks

Mac and Josh have been friends since Mac joined PRO Club in 2015. Over the years, they've shared a passion for learning and challenging each other's thinking, particularly when it comes to their profession. Josh has always appreciated how Mac approaches things a little differently, offering valuable insights. Beyond Mac's intellectual curiosity, Josh also values his great sense of humor. It wasn't until years later that Josh discovered Mac's real name isn't actually "Mac," and it still baffles him to this day.
Jessi Albin

Jessi is one of Janelle and Joshua's coworker trainers at Pro Club and specifically coaches alongside Janelle at CrossFit Bellevue! She has been there through all the coach's WODs, CrossFit competitions, partner workouts, and community events, playing a big role in Janelle’s gym life, especially at CrossFit. We’re excited to have Jessi as a bridesmaid to help celebrate our union of love!
Michael Marshall
Groomsman
Mike and Josh have been friends since Junior High. They first bonded by walking a couple of miles after school to West Valley Fitness, where they’d bench press and, more often than not, just hang out. They created countless memories at Mike's parents' house, hosting Xbox LAN parties, playing sports, and spending time with their close-knit group of friends. Mike has remained one of Josh's closest friends—a friend who feels like family, no matter how long it's been since they last saw each other. Fun fact: Mike actually met Janelle years before Josh did, when he was at the University of Idaho (GO VANDALS!) as a Javelin Thrower on the track team, and she was competing on the volleyball and basketball teams.
Kaithlin Wheeler

Kaithlin is one of Janelle and Joshua's trainer coworkers at Pro Club and is also a coach at CrossFit Belred! Kaithlin has been there ever since Janelle and Joshua met and has been part of all the fun events and memories with our Pro Club family! Kaithlin was also on their big trip to Thailand and has been there through all the tough workouts day in and day out! They're excited to have Kaithlin by their side as they tie the knot!
James Louthan

James and Josh's relationship began with James serving as Josh's Mentor/Sr. Trainer at PRO Sports Club. Over the years, their friendship grew as they created countless memories—playing sports, hosting BBQs, camping, bowling, celebrating birthdays, and even that "spoon game" they played at James’ house one time. There was also that hilarious game where they had to pick up paper off the ground with their mouths, and James helped Josh move when he broke his pinky. Not to mention the time James invited Josh to play basketball at PRO Club, and Josh hit the game-winning shot right in his face, or when Josh mistakenly thought James was Mexican. Through it all, James has become like the older brother Josh never had. #ourpeople
Lucy Gildein

Lucy was Janelle's roommate when she lived in the United Kingdom playing volleyball and getting a Master's at Durham University. They lived with 17 other Americans, but Janelle and Lucy's rooms were right next to each other and both enjoyed each other's company through travel throughout England, visiting Lucy in Iceland when she was playing professional soccer for a couple of seasons, and multiple visits to Colorado to visit her and Tom, and her beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog Brady. Janelle and Lucy enjoy helping each other through day to day adult life and also are avid pickleball players as well! Can't wait to have Lucy by our side!
Max Staples

Max is one of Josh's longest friendships. The two bonded in Junior High and High School over shared interests in sports and video games. They once discovered they were so similar that they had the same height, weight, and reach—so naturally, they had to box each other! They've made countless fun memories visiting each other's colleges, attending Seahawks and Mariners games, and hanging out at cabins. Josh values that their friendship has withstood the test of time, and he continues to appreciate that Max is one of the nicest people he's ever met.
Miranda O'Neill

Miranda is Janelle's former Pro Club personal training client who quickly became a close friend! She came to Pro Club looking for a trainer who specialized in Spartan Races, and that's how she connected with Janelle. They had an amazing time training and competing together in Spartan races! Their friendship only grew from there, especially when Miranda and Adam set up a home gym called "The Gainz Cave." During the COVID pandemic, Janelle, Joshua, and roommate Jake would work out there every day, creating many memorable moments. It was also during this time that they got their puppy, Kobe! Janelle and Joshua love visiting Miranda and Adam in Flagstaff, AZ, and are thrilled to have Miranda stand by their side on the big day!
Nathan Keaney

Nathan is one of the few groomsmen who didn’t know Josh before he met Janelle, which is one of those strange facts that just doesn’t seem to add up—because it feels like they’ve known Nathan for much longer. Nathan was instantly welcomed into their friend group when he joined PRO Club in 2019. Josh and Nathan quickly bonded over their shared passion for perfecting their craft as personal trainers. Nathan always brings a positive vibe, plenty of laughs, and easy-going conversation. Whether he's visiting them in Seattle or they’re visiting him in Arizona, Josh and Janelle always enjoy their time with Nathan.
Kelsey Nolta

Kelsey is one of Janelle's firefighter friends! They met in EMT school in 2021, both aspiring firefighters and current personal trainers, supporting each other side by side through their journey. In 2022, Kelsey and Janelle were both hired by different agencies and got to lean on each other during the grueling fire academies and probationary periods. They were there for each other through all the ups and downs of the fire world. Janelle is honored to have Kelsey by her side on this special day!
Derek Delorme

Derek is likely Josh's first friend ever. Their friendship began in Jr. High, and one of Josh's key memories is when Derek would buy him pizza or cookies whenever he forgot to pack his lunch. Many of their memories were made playing sports, video games, and figuring out how to party. They attended community college together and eventually became roommates at CWU. Derek is part of a core group of friends that Josh considers family.
Erica Suy

Erica and Janelle first met through the CrossFit community and have been supporting each other throughout their journeys to become female firefighters. Both have faced similar challenges and setbacks in their careers but have always had each other to lean on. Bonded by their love of dogs, fitness, firefighting, and life in general, Janelle is thrilled to have Erica by her side on this special day!

Jeremy is the younger brother of the bride! The couple enjoys game nights with Jeremy and his partner, Keli, as well as family dinners and gatherings throughout the year. Jeremy has been incredibly supportive throughout Janelle's life, and they are thrilled to have him by their side as they get married!
Jake Smith

Jake has been roommates with Janelle and Joshua since 2021 and has been friends with the couple since 2018! He met them as a trainer at Pro Club and also coaches at CrossFit Bel-Red with Janelle. Jake and Janelle have competed in numerous CrossFit competitions together, often claiming the infamous 2nd place spot. He has been a huge part of their lives, from family dinners and early morning hugs to countless cookies and board games. Through job changes, graduations, and engagements, Jake has been a fun and supportive addition to their journey. They are honored to have Jake officiate their wedding and help them tie the knot!
