Joseph and Janelle first met in early 2019. Initially, their story started as friends and simple lake hangouts. From there time changed from spending time with friends to spending time one on one. The more quality time they spent together their feelings for each other grew from friends to something beautiful. It didn't take long for the young couple to recognize the potential of the future they could build together. You can feel their passion, hear their laughter, and see their love when they walk into a room. The soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Robers endlessly thank God for creating their past, present, and eternal future with one another!
A short trip to Arizona to see family for both Joseph and Janelle ended up having a major surprise. What Janelle thought was going to be just a trip full of excitement and family turned to be a trip with bigger plans. The young couple talked about marriage before, and Janelle knew Joseph purchased a ring. However, it was just unknown for Janelle when the perfect timing of when he would pop the question. She had no idea the ring was hidden on the flight. Janelle never visited the Grand Canyon before, and she already was full of joy. Kelsi, Jeremy, Joseph, and Janelle toured the Grand Canyon most of that Saturday and enjoyed every little moment together. As everyone walked back to the car intending to leave that's when plans changed and a group decision was made to walk the other half they did not already explore. They reached a scenic edge which showed all of the colors throughout the canyon. While Janelle admired the view, Joseph took a picture with his sister Kelsi. Next, Joseph asked Janelle to take a picture, and of course, she intertwined her hand with his to pose side by side. Few pictures later, he got down on one knee! Traditionally he asked, "Will you marry me Janelle?" and her response was given with a head nod indicating yes with eyes full of happy tears. She was completely blown away at his romantic planning and ability to keep a secret from her. For many who know Joseph, will understand he doesn't keep big surprises hushed for long. The two walked away from the edge of the canyon that afternoon to look and find their forever right in front of them.
