Question

What is included when booking at the resort?

Answer

With an all-inclusive resort, the booking price will include the specific room(s) selected, all food and all drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Please click on our booking link for details about the resort and additional amenities!

Question

Who can stay at the resort?

Answer

Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana is an adults-only resort. No minors (guests under the age of 18) are allowed on the premises. If you are interested in bringing the whole family, Secrets' "sister" resort Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana is family-friendly and right next door to Secrets. Please note that unfortunately no minors will be able to attend the wedding ceremony and reception since it will take place at Secrets resort.

Question

How many days can I book at the resort?

Answer

A minimum of 3 nights is required and all guests must stay the night of the wedding day on 5/5/25. The discounted group rate is included for the following dates: 5/1/25 - 5/12/25. You may spend as many days as you would like at the resort, however, any nights that are booked outside of this date range are not guaranteed at the same rate. Please reach out to our Destination Wedding Specialist, Melinda Shelley, on the booking website if you would like to extend your stay beyond these specific dates.

Question

Do I have to book through the Destination Weddings link?

Answer

It is highly recommended that all guests book using our provided link via DestinationWeddings.com in order to receive the discounted group rate. If you book through the Secrets resort website directly, you will not be able to receive the discounted rate and you may be subject to additional fees charged by the resort. Vacation planning is provided by Destination Weddings as a complimentary service to our guests. Booking your accommodations using the provided link also notifies the wedding couple of your RSVP so that we can include you for the wedding festivities.

Question

What documents do I need to travel to DR?

Answer

Your U.S. or Korean passport (make sure it's not expired!). No Visa documents are required when traveling from the U.S. to Dominican Republic.

Question

Where is the couple's registry?

Answer

No gifts necessary! We understand that traveling to a destination wedding is costly; your presence is a gift for us.

Question

What happens if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

Answer

Please reach out to Melinda Shelley at DestinationWeddings.com, the Destination Wedding Specialist. She will be able assist you with any cancellations or issues with your reservation. Note that when you initially book your room reservation, it will ask if you would like to pay for insurance in case of cancellations, which can be refunded as a travel credit or cash refund depending on which insurance you choose.
