Janelle and Aldrin met through a common friend who was Aldrin's former co-worker and Janelle's classmate on her Masters' in the Philippines. Aldrin reached out to Janelle through her social media accounts. (That’s how milleanials connect nowadays, guys!) However, nothing worth having comes easy. It took some time for Janelle to respond, but Aldrin was very consistent in trying to get her attention by sending random private messages. (Sounds like a creepy stalker! LOL) After that friend request confirmation, the rest is history! LOL Alright, Let's spill more deets... Love always find its way, right? Aldrin is residing in Gapan, Nueva Ecija (Northern part of the Philippines) which is a four and half hours drive from Lipa, Batangas (southern part of the Philippines) just to see Janelle. Aldrin was very persistent in pursuing Janelle. Because love knows no distance! A couple of months after, he decided to pop the question “Will you be my girlfriend?” over a romantic surprise dinner date a night before her flight to US. And that's how it all started.

Janelle usually spends Holidays in the US to celebrate it with her family. 2017 Holiday, which is also their First Anniversary of being together, she decided to take Aldrin with her to formally introduce him to the pack. Thats also the time she decided to permanently stay in US to fulfill her aspirations. While Aldrin returns home to fulfill his. They were in a Long Distance Relationship for 9 long months. It wasn’t easy, but because what’s meant for you will always be yours, Aldrin took the risk and flew back to America just to be with Janelle. (Awww so sweet) That which belong to you cannot be taken from you, indeed. Mr. Cupid made his way!

It all happened in Alaska, under the Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis. Wanna hear more? It was on the couple's Bucketlist to go visit Alaska and see Northern Lights. It was also Aldrin’s perfect chance to pop the last and most important question which will change their lives. Aldrin asked his parent’s and the blessing of Janelle’s family before he asked her to marry him. It was the perfect timing. Northern lights came out during their first night. The same night Aldrin knelt and ask Janelle the BIG QUESTION, "will you marry me?" And that's why we're here.
