Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort Waterfront
If you are staying at the Golden Arrow Resort. The private white sand beach provides an excellent place to relax and enjoy the outdoor Adirondack activities. With a magnificent panorama of the Adirondack Mountains, it’s never been easier. Children will love building sand castles! Mirror Lake does not permit motorized crafts on its waters, so swimmers can safely venture all the way across the lake if they choose. The motor ban also helps keep the waters of Mirror Lake pristine and clean. Complimentary Water Craft Rowboat Canoes Kayaks Pedal Boats Hydro-Bikes Stand-up Paddle Boards These are at a first-come-first-served basis. Simply check one out with our beach staff and return when finished.
Mirror Lake Loop
The Mirror Lake Loop is a paved trail that takes you for a scenic 2.7 mile walk around Mirror Lake. The Loop provides a perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy the mountain air, while still being in close proximity to downtown.

Walk through the Olympic Center and you’ll see hallways adorned with plaques and banners toting the achievements of past Olympians. You’ll find the 1932 Jack Shea Arena, 1980 Herb Brooks Arena, USA Practice Rink, James C. Sheffield Speed Skating Oval, Conference Center, and The Lake Placid Olympic Museum.
