We both swiped right on the internet and the rest was history -- let him tell it, I chased him down but no one will believe that. It all started on a dating app, where two swipe right's and a one direct message put us exactly where we are today! Our first date was magical, it was September of 2022 and he decided he wanted to cook for me for my birthday at my place! Of course, the safety precautions were in place as I researched him to know what I was getting myself into. My anxiety was HIGH because I for sure did not want to go missing but on the contrary it was the complete opposite with a great time. He purchased all the items to cook the perfect dinner from scratch. After dinner, he started to build my new furniture in my new apartment as we talked about any and everything under the sun. One date became another, and then eventually we were 5-6 dates in as they all blended together. A respectable southern gentleman to say the least and so it began.

We officially started dating in January 2023 and shortly after we began to blossom. In June of 2023 he proposed in Virginia Beach on one of thee hottest days in June but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Surrounded by family and friends, till this day I thought I was going to a work event that was set to honor him and yet it was for our special moment and of course I said yes! Since then, we have celebrated our one year anniversary in January of 2024 and explored traveling together. Travel has been apart of us since the beginning as we have traveled to Disney and beyond, a Beyonce’ concert in Nashville, TN (boy did I Beyhive him to death), Philly for cheesesteaks, NC, GA, VA and now we are taking travels overseas to celebrate our union! We are excited to celebrate with you as this is a vacation for all of us! Guess where are going next?
