Marcus and Janelis met on campus at Sonoma State University where they attended school. They both were at an event hosted by the BSU club. This is where Marcus first laid eyes on Janelis. He could not contain his excitement, he kept staring at her from where he was seated. She then got up to go to the restroom, and he followed behind. But he was then caught up with an older gentleman who stopped him for a chat. Marcus was trying to cut the conversation short so that he could go spit game at Janelis 😂 He ended up catching up with her outside of the event while she was waiting for a friend. Then he finally saw her, he complimented her hair because it was blue at the time and he asked her where did she get it done. She then told him Castro Valley and he said oh nice. I’m gonna go get mine like that. He then walked out of the event, never seeing each other again until about a few days later where he asked a mutual acquaintance for her Snapchat. They talked for a few days on Snapchat and finally set up a first date to go to a place in Santa Rosa called Fruta. They hung out for a few more days and since then they haven’t left each other side. The rest was history.
