Chicago Marathon Weekend

Please be aware the Chicago Marathon coincides with our wedding weekend. Lodging will unfortunately be at a premium and will fill up quickly. We recommend booking your hotels and flights ASAP. We are linking the course map here. Road closures begin at 4 am Sunday 10/12. We recommend the Hyatt Wicker Park for easy access back to 90/94 on Sunday OR staying in Gold Coast/Streeterville to access Lake Shore Drive (and onward access to 55/90/94).

Choose your own hotel + discount

With the difficulty of securing a hotel block during the marathon weekend, our wedding website host, Zola, has created a hotel booking page with specially negotiated group rates for us. The rates can fluctuate and sell out at any time, so please book sooner than later! We highly recommend reviewing the marathon map linked in the top section of this page. Generally the Gold Coast / Streeterville area should allow easy access back to Lake Shore (and then to 55 or 90/94 via 55) on Sunday. Please feel free to ask us, or to inquire with hotels, if any specific concerns on Sunday travel.
