In 2015, after years of living their best lives as single people, Janeen and Henry (AJ) decided to try online dating. They each created dating profiles on a few different apps, but destiny would have it that their paths would cross on OkCupid. On November 12, 2015, Janeen was scrolling through profiles, and AJ caught her eye. After reading his profile and noticing he was also a Pisces, she decided to reach out. She sent him a "Hello, how are you?" message. AJ took five days and responded, "I'm good and yourself?" After that, it was "crickets" for the next 11-months. Janeen and AJ wouldn't be in contact again until late October 2016. Over the next four months, Janeen and AJ would spend time getting to know each other via text and phone calls. Then in March 2017, they decided to have their first date on Janeen's birthday. They went to the Regal King of Prussia IMAX theater to see Logan, the tenth film in the X-Men film series. After the movie, they went to a local bar for a nightcap. The conversation was good, and the chemistry was even better. They said their goodbyes, and from that day forward, they haven't stop texting and talking to each other...I mean, they text and talk ALL damn day! ...and the rest is history.
Early Christmas morning, Henry (aka AJ) jumped out of bed like a BIG kid, knowing this would be the perfect day to propose to the love of his life, Janeen. AJ didn't have all the details of how he would execute the proposal, but he knew it would happen during the family Christmas dinner. When AJ arrived at the family dinner, he pulled La'Kischa aside (Janeen's sister) and asked for Janeen's hand in marriage. She, of course, said YES! After receiving La'Kischa's blessing, AJ came up with a plan. He asked her to gather the family in the living room. Once everyone was together, he requested that she play the couple's favorite song, Best Part, by H.E.R. so he could serenade Janeen before the proposal. Before the music started, La'Kischa shouted, "I have an announcement!" then she said, "Oh, AJ has an announcement, not me." When the music started playing, AJ wasn't ready. His nerves were a wreck; he was sweaty and big-eyed. After forgetting a few lyrics, AJ kneeled and popped the BIG question...WILL YOU MARRY ME? And you know what she said...."YES!" Everyone was filled with love and joy and began shouting, "SOON TO BE MR. & MRS. JOHNSON."
