It all started with a right swipe! Yep, that’s right, we met on tinder. Caleb and I got to know each other quite a bit before actually meeting in person. We spent most of our time getting to know each other via text. Once we started feeling a bit more comfortable, we started having phone conversations, which was out of the norm for me (I hate talking on the phone), but he made me WANT to talk to him. It had gotten to the point where I would get upset if I didn’t hear from him by a certain time. When the time had finally come for us to meet, I actually tried to stand him up! I wasn’t sure if I was ready to get into anything serious, but Caleb was NOT having it! On his birthday, the day I almost stood him up, he forced his way into my life. He took me on our first date at Joe’s Crab Shack where we spent hours talking and laughing face-to-face. It had gotten to the point where I couldn’t wait to be with him again. Dates, long intellectual conversations, and lots of laughs.. yes, he had won my heart. After spending three months getting to know each other, Caleb asked me to be his girlfriend. After dating for a year, Caleb got down on one knee in front of my closet family members and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
