Meet our wedding party!

Dana Yu

Maid of Honor

Dana is Jane's younger sister of 10 years. Jane was so excited about being an older sister back in the late 90's. She was an only child for 10 years until Dana came into the world. Jane looks up to Dana in many ways from her faith and devotion to Jesus, love for her family/friends and her ambition. The sisters share a very special bond and can always count on each other, through both the ups and downs. Dana is a licensed CPA working as a Private Equity accountant in Los Angeles, CA. Although Dana is many miles away physically from Jane these days; the two always find time to call one another, be there for one another and support each-other. Life would be so hard for Jane without Dana's constant love and support.

Christina Cho

Bridesmaid

Christina has been one of Jane's longest friends. The two met back in high-school and played lacrosse together. Christina has one of the most un-apologetic humor, views on people/life and tells a story like non other. Christina is an amazing artist who studied at the Cooper Union school of art during the summers in-between high school years. Nowadays Christina is working as an actuarial analyst in NYC. Jane cannot count the number of times she's hung out with Christina over the years from attempting to skateboard, trips to Manhanttan as Long Island teenagers, trips to Montauk to go horseback riding and visiting museums together. Christina has been there as a constant source of support throughout every aspect of Jane's life.

Shelby Kapadia

Bridesmaid

Shelby and Jane met in college at Penn State University. The two became friends from both attending AACF but grew closer after they became roommates Junior year. Shelby also moved to NYC and worked as an Accountant for a few years before getting married and moving her life abroad. Shelby has lived in Italy, Germany, and now resides with her two sons Luca and Leo and husband; Nikesh in Korea. Although Shelby has been physically far from Jane, the two have always kept their friendship and bond close finding time to visit one another when the timing allows. Although Shelby may have a quiet demeanor, her heart speaks loud for her loved ones and demonstrates resilience with any tough situation thrown her way.

Jihyun Ahn

Bridesmaid

Jihyun was Jane's first close friend after college. The two met at Coby Electronics (Jane's first professional job after graduating) from PSU. They both had many laughs and fun at work while Jihyun trained Jane. Jane admires Ji's inclination to always get to work on time starting at 8 am while Ji rode her bike to work many times. Ji is always fun to be around and can light up any tough situation to be not as challenging as it seems. This is probably true because Ji has endured and survived boarding school in the Himalayan mountains in India and also moving away from her safety net (family and home in Korea) to live and work in the Big Apple. She has been a true lifelong friend for Jane.

Pearly Huang

Bridesmaid

Jane first met Pearly through a mutual friend at Penn State while attending a punk rock show at the Crow Bar. They found out that both were from NY and got closer as Jane moved to NYC shortly after college. Pearly has been Jane's constant source of support whether it's introducing Jane to incredible people/new friends or cheering Jane up during tough times throughout life. Pearly is an exceptional writer and editor and now works as a Copy Chief for a major online marketplace. Jane and Pearly has taken many trips together from the enchanting likes of Vegas to hiking trips upstate and even an international trip to Seoul, Korea. The two has countless memories/hangouts together throughout the years and will look forward to many more.

Emily Pletchan

Bridesmaid

Emily is Zach's sister and Jane's future sister-in-law. Jane and Emily first met while Zach introduced the two on a Friday night for Omakase. Emily was very welcoming of Jane as Zach's girlfriend and now fiance. Emily is a strong individual who overcomes many challenges that life brings. Emily nowadays works as a Human Resource professional and travels a lot for both work and pleasure. She however will always find time to check in on her loved ones and is especially apparent when she makes time to meet up with Zach and Jane throughout the past few years. Jane would not be walking down the aisle without Emily's support.

Mithra Santhakumar

Bridesmaid

Mithra came to work at Samsung when Jane was just about to feel defeated about not bonding with anyone at work. After Jane had a three month leave of absence and returned to work on that day when Mithra invited Jane to have lunch with her co-workers. The two became inseparable since then and made it a routine to enjoy lunch hour together, take frequent happy hour trips and make time to hang out in the city. Throughout the years Mithra has since met her best friend/husband, moved on to a different job and moved back near where Jane and Zach lives. Jane is grateful to have Mithra as a constant source of support in life while going through job changes, health issues, and just a positive reinforcement for any tough situation. It was Mithra that persuaded Jane to attend and drove her to the offsite event for work that indirectly led to Jane and Zach's reconnection.

Kevin Baumer

Best Man

Kevin and I have been friends since the days at Salt Brook School. Ever since those Elementary School days, we have been ‘two peas in a pod’ from trading sports cards (while pretending we were the General Managers of the Carolina Panthers/New York Giants), playing fantasy football/baseball, and contributing to the ‘Sports Reporters’ show in High School. Kevin has always been a quick call or text away if I needed any help or support (especially as Zach has begun navigating life as a Cat Dad!). I am both honored and ecstatic to have Kevin as the Best Man for our big day on May 3rd. Keep an ear out for his best man speech, which will no doubt be filled with fun and exciting stories from our childhood!

Kevin Bodkin

Groomsman

Kevin and I first met around the time we became stepbrothers in 2008. We spent many days at the house on 42 Delaware watching late night TV / movies and playing MVP Baseball on XBOX. In fact, it was Kevin who gave me the name “ZBo” while we visited for Kevin’s college graduation from DePaul in 2012. Kevin is always down to go to D’Jais (an infamous Jersey Shore bar) whenever I wanted to relive my youth (and paid for it with a headache the next day!). We have no doubt that Kevin will be the first one on the dance floor at the wedding.

Walter Bodkin

Groomsman

Walter and I first met while teammates during our Senior Year on the New Providence High School Basketball team. What started as a friendship soon became family in 2008. From spending multiple summers down the Jersey Shore to hanging out with the fellas for Sunday Football, Walt was always there for a great time! Both Jane and I are so blessed to have him as one of the groomsmen for our wedding. And if you see someone jiving to the Bruce Springsteen songs during our reception, it’s a good chance it’d be him!

Paul Chhoy

Groomsman

Paul and I connected in Astoria during my 4th date with Jane. We quickly connected over their love of beer and the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team. Paul was a connector and quickly introduced me to the large contingent of now friends from Astoria (who you will probably meet at the wedding)! From their trips to upstate New York to trying new restaurants and places in New York City (Queens specifically!) Paul is always down to have a good time!

Brian Walsh

Groomsman

Brian and I have been friends throughout the years we have lived in New Providence. We have bonded through our love for the New York Mets. Even though we don’t see each other as much (after Brian moved to Massachusetts), we are always able to pick right up where we left off whenever we’re together. With an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor, BW is able to bring out the humor and find the funny side of every situation (even when discussing the New York Mets).

Joey Flannery

Groomsman

Joey and I have been close friends since elementary school. From playing football at Lions Park, to participating in the Marching Band throughout our High School years, most of my fond memories from New Providence involved Joey right by my side! To this day, Joey is still down to talk hypothetical NFL trades and NFL Draft takes as we both take our minds off of our daily jobs grinding in sales! You could only imagine the text message chain when the Panthers and Giants completed the Brian Burns trade earlier this year! Both Jane and myself are so excited to have Joey as a part of our special day.

For all the days along the way
