Planet Bluegrass is a special location, it hosts music throughout the summer that makes Scot (& Jane) happy and feel at home. Not only that, Scot manages the Moxie bakery in Lyons. So it's also an everyday kind of love.
We have Made a hotel block at Wee Casa and A-Lodge in Lyons. Lyons is located about 30 minutes away from Boulder. We recommend staying in Lyons as possible, but recognize that accommodations can be limited.
Fly into Denver International Airport, rent a car and drive 1 hour north to Lyons, CO.
RMNP is only 30 minutes from Lyons and a great activity. In peak season reservations are needed to enter the park. The weekend of our wedding is NOT peak season, so entered the park can happen more spontaneously. We recommend checking the weather, as it is quite unpredictable in May!
Well this question has a lot of answers, but the activities in Colorado are endless. From hiking, to mountain and road and gravel biking, to tubing, to fishing, to rafting, to climbing, there are a lot of ways to be active in this area. Beyond outdoor activities, Denver has a lot of fun things to do, including Meow Wolf, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, Cheeseman Park, and so much more. Not to mention all the fun restaurants! we are happy to provide more specific recommendations as needed.
