FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire! Think nice pants and a button-up (jacket and tie optional), a jumpsuit, or mini, knee-length, or midi cocktail dresses. The bridesmaids will be wearing eucalyptus dresses.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 10 - 15 minutes early. Be prepared to get cozy in the church!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, you can park in the lot across the street from St. Cronan's. Please be mindful of the "Residents Only" parking. The lot is not very big, but you there is ample (free!) street parking around the church. For the reception, you can park in the lot behind the Majorette. Enter the lot via Lanham Ave. If you decide to explore Maplewood in between the ceremony and reception, you can park for free in the Majorette's lot. (picture for reference https://ibb.co/S42cLGh4 )

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. If your children's names are listed on your wedding invitation, they are invited. If your child starts to get restless during the ceremony, please feel free to step into the vestibule area of the church. There are speakers so you will still be able to hear the ceremony. The overall festivities will be geared toward adults so please feel free to use your parental discretion as to whether or not they are appropriate wedding guests.

Question

What should I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Check our our "Things to Do" tab for some ideas! There are tons of great bars, breweries, shops, and restaurants just a quick walk away from St. Cronan and near the Majorette.
