Where is the wedding?
Answer
We are getting married at Ocean Gateway located on a pier looking out over Portland Harbor.

What are our transportation options?
Answer
There are two airports nearby: 1) Portland International Jetport (~15 minutes drive) 2) Boston Logan airport (~2 hour drive) The venue and hotels are a short 15 minute drive from the Portland airport, which has both Ubers and taxis available. If guests would prefer to fly into Logan, there are several bus options or they can rent a car to get to Portland. Once people are in the city, they should be able to walk between the venue and the suggested hotels. If people would like to explore the greater Portland area, we recommend that they rent cars. Please reach out to Jane or Riley with any questions about transportation.

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes, there is limited onsite event parking at the facility. Overnight parking is not permitted. Off Site & Overnight Parking may be available at the Ocean Gateway parking garage one block away from the venue. The venue is also walking distance from most hotels in downtown Portland.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is "cocktail attire" which means whatever makes you feel good while drinking cocktails. The wedding will also be NYE, so New Years attire (ahem sparkles) is encouraged.

Are kids invited?
Answer
As much as we love spending time with your little ones, we will be having a child-free reception. Let Jane or Riley know if you have any questions or are having trouble making arrangements.
Question
I'm scared of Maine in the winter. What do I wear??
Answer
It will be great... and cold! Just be sure to bring a warm coat and some boots/shoes you don't mind getting wet and dirty. Layers are also useful. The venue is fully heated and a coatroom will be available.
