Kris was born and raised in Houston, TX. He joined the United States Navy where he was a Radioman on the USS Asheville, Los Angeles class nuclear powered submarine. He was stationed in San Diego and had a change of homeport to Pearl Harbor. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he attended the Golf Academy of America in Carlsbad, CA. He is now a defense contractor supporting the Navy. Kris attends Abundant Life Community and serves on the Praise Team. Kris enjoys playing softball, golf, and basketball.

Jane was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.  At the age of 13, Jane’s family moved to Yorba Linda, CA.  She studied Biochemistry at UCSD, then moved back home in Orange County.  She worked as a dental assistant for a few years, and started her career as quality assurance supervisor in a dietary supplement company.  Jane attends Sarang Community Church in Anaheim, serves as a Toddler Ministry teacher.  Jane enjoys baking, likes photography, and loves grocery shopping. 

As meeting people through dating apps became more common, we met each other through a dating app called Hinge. Jane saw Kris' profile and liked his comment about meeting a woman that has an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Kris saw that one of Jane's pictures and started the conversation saying "The first thing I noticed is that you're wearing a Dodger's shirt. Hopefully, it doesn't deduct points that I'm an Astros fan." Jane replied "What? Astros??? Bye~" Thankfully, she was kidding. We knew that if we could get over this difference, we could get through anything in our relationship.
