Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal wear. Button up shirt or polo with slacks or nice jeans (no rips please), dresses or jumpsuits. Cowboy boots encouraged. While this is not a black-tie occasion, please feel free to wear a suit if you prefer!

Is there a ceremony?
Answer
We will not be doing a traditional ceremony. We get 'officially' married in a very small intimate ceremony in Orlando on October 29th 2025, so back home in Canada we will be celebrating our marriage with a reception and a Chinese tea ceremony to celebrate Jackson's heritage.

Can I attend the Tea Ceremony?

Everyone is welcome to come and observe the tea ceremony.

Yes!

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There is plenty of parking at the venue and overnight parking is permitted, so if you are staying nearby and want a drink you can pick your car up the next morning.

Do you have a hotel block?
Answer
C Hotel by Carmen's is providing a discount for wedding guests if you quote "Tran/Waring wedding". We will be staying here after the reception. It is approximately 15 minutes drive away from the venue so we recommend pre-booking a taxi.

Are children invited?
Answer
While this is an event geared more towards adults, and we encourage you to take a night for yourselves to drink & dance away from parenthood, we are not opposed to children attending (such as those who will be travelling far to celebrate with us or for those who cannot get a sitter). Please let Jane or Jackson know if you wish to bring your child!

We don't have a registry, but if you want to honor us with a card or small gift we will accept with much gratitude.
