Due to a last-minute, COVID-related change in circumstances, we have decided to abandon our private, 9-person (parents and siblings only) ceremony on the beach and switch to a completely virtual ceremony. The only people who will be present in-person are the couple, the officiant, and the one witness required by law to sign the marriage license. Blessedly, switching to a virtual platform has given us an opportunity to safely open up our invitation to include more of our amazing friends, family, and colleagues. We are actually so excited about this change in plans and so grateful to be able to share our special day with all of you!
We know you did not get much advance notice, so if you cannot or do not want to attend for any reason, please know that we still appreciate you in our lives and will not hold it against you at all. We would also love to see you on zoom or in-person in the next few months when you are available. We are currently living in the Bay Area but have trips planned to Seattle and Boston in the next few months.
We hope so! Although this pandemic and our life plans are continually evolving (thank you residency match process!), we are hopeful that we will be able to host an in-person gathering in the coming months, most likely late spring or early summer, to play some fun games and dance the night away in a shared physical space. If we do decide to proceed with an in-real-life reception, we will send out an announcement and update this wedding website to reflect that. Either way, you can expect to see lots of wedding photos posted in the photo gallery after the big day, so check back here for those!
