Are kids welcome?

While we love your children, our wedding weekend has been planned as an adults-only celebration.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be shuttling guests from downtown Buena Vista. Pickup locations will be at The Inn, The Surf Hotel, and the Best Western. Please let us know in your RSVP which location we should plan to pick you up from.

How can I prepare to be at elevation?

Answer

Buena Vista is around 8,000 feet elevation, which means the air is thinner and the sun is stronger. Stay comfortable by drinking LOTS of water, wearing sunscreen, and allowing extra time to adjust. Alcohol can also feel stronger at higher elevations. If possible, consider spending a day in Denver (5,280 feet) before heading to BV to help your body acclimate.

Wasn't your wedding scheduled in June at one point?

Answer

It sure was! But then we learned about a huge festival happening near the town of Buena Vista. We didn't want the BV vibes ruined by 10,000 EDM fans, so we moved the celebration to July!

Is it pronounced Buena or Buena?

Answer

A highly debated topic. When you're talking to locals, it's pronounced 'Byoona vista'. When you're in Denver, it's 'Bwayna'. It's up to you. Usually, we say 'BV' because we can't commit.
