We met at Room 389 in Oakland, where our mutual friends and Jane's sister + MOH Emily were watching the Warriors play in the 2016 NBA finals. According to Dave, it was that night (after sharing some late-night curly fries at Lake Merritt) that he knew that he wanted to date Jane. A few weeks later when he hitched a 5+ hour ride with the Eastern Sierras with Jane to High Sierra Music Festival, she became smitten...and the rest is history! It's been the best years of our lives since we met - filled with all the joy, love, and adventures that we could dream of. 3 years, one rescue puppy, our first home, and countless laughs later, we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.

Halfway into Jane's 27th birthday backpacking trip through the Skyline Trail in Jasper National Park, Alberta, we made the steepest, snowiest and the toughest ascent of the journey; The Notch. While enjoying a well-deserved breather at 2400m, Dave dropped to one knee and popped the best question he could ever have asked! Skyline is Jasper's highest and possibly most scenic trail with sweeping views of uninterrupted snow-peaked mountains, so needless to say this is a moment neither of us will ever forget. We cannot wait to fill our lives with more unforgettable memories like that one!
