Hike to Mirador Cerro de La Cruz
For one of the most spectacular views in Puerto Vallarta, hike up to Mirador de la Cruz. This short but very steep walk starts near sea level and climbs uphill for about half a mile, turning from sidewalk to cobblestone and eventually to steps. The effort is absolutely worth it — the panoramic views over the city and bay are unforgettable. Be sure to wear good shoes and bring water (and maybe a celebratory cerveza)!

Flamingos Golf
Flamingos Golf Club is one of the most reasonably priced golf courses in the Greater Vallarta area, offering wide fairways, well-maintained greens, and a fun, scenic round. The course features challenging water hazards (yes, with real crocodiles), plenty of sand, and beautiful tropical views throughout. Be sure to grab a mango from the trees lining the course and stop by the 19th-hole palapa afterward to cool off with a refreshing drink. Other great golf options nearby include El Tigre, Vista Vallarta, Marina Vallarta, Higuera Golf, Punta Mita, and Vidanta.
