2/3/20 Jane and Adam first met on a Spirit Airlines flight home from Phoenix. They were seated next to each other in the very back row and struck up conversation about the Waste Management Open, which they had both gone to that weekend with their respective friends. Both tired from the weekend, they kept the conversation short and settled in to their own things, Jane reading a thriller novel, and Adam listening to music. Before putting in his headphones, Adam jokingly apologized, saying he’d taken a melatonin and might fall asleep on her shoulder. That didn't happen, but near the end of the flight, they started chatting again, and Adam asked for Jane's number. He took his time to text Jane (thinking hard to come up with the perfect text to break the ice I guess). Three days later, Jane's looked at her phone and saw a text from an unknown number: "This is Adam, your favorite flying neighbor..." And the rest is history! Thank you Spirit Airlines for bringing us together! 5/29/25 Five years after their first camping trip together at Bear Head Lake State Park, the place where their love for spending time in the outdoors together was solidified, Adam proposed in the same spot. 8/15/26 We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family!
