IF I AM STAYING AT THE HOLIDAY INN OR TAGALONG HOW WILL I BE TRANSPORTED TO THE ISLAND?

Answer

We will provide transport to and from Tagalong on Saturday. If you would like to come to the island on Friday or Sunday, there is parking by the dock and the ferry will escort you over to the island free of charge.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Due to restrictions at the venue, we can only accommodate children of immediate family at our wedding.

WHEN IS THE FERRY AVAILABLE?

The ferry TO Stout's Island leaves from 2799 27th Street, Birchwood, WI 54817 every hour on the hour from 8am to 10pm daily. It leaves FROM the island at 10 minutes to the hour from 7:50am to 10pm every day. All wedding guests can use the ferry, even if they are not staying on the island.

FOOD SERVICE AT STOUT'S

Answer

We have the entire island reserved for our wedding weekend, which means that the restaurant will not remain open for regular meal service outside of wedding events. There will be a continental breakfast served Saturday and Sunday morning, a buffet-style lunch prior to the ceremony, and a taco bar Friday night for those staying on the island. Coffee is plentiful in the main lodge dining room and common areas. There are no stores or other restaurants on Stout's Island, so if you are someone that likes to snack during the day, please plan accordingly! Off-island restaurants and grocery stores are available in nearby Rice Lake and most rooms are equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave. Feel free to call Stout's Island Lodge if you have questions!
