We kindly ask our guests to wear black or navy to our special day. Cocktail attire.

Are you getting married at the courthouse?

Answer

Yes! Join us at the courthouse for our courtroom ceremony, followed by cocktails and a dinner reception down the road.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The suggested hotel and other nearby options offer parking. Hotels, including the Residence Inn, on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, are within walking distance of the ceremony and reception. There are also several public parking garages and street parking available on the day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

If you're joining us at the courthouse for the ceremony, please plan on arriving by 2:50 pm. (Subject to change pending weather).

Did you reserve a block of rooms?

Answer

No. We want our guests to stay wherever works best for them. If you're looking for hotel options near the ceremony, we recommend the Residence Inn on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall or other nearby lodging.
