With this Ring

On the steps of 3130 during our worship time, I noticed that our good friend Jonathan brought a new guy to our Wednesday night church service. I had no clue who this kid was, but we welcomed him into our little family and decided he was kinda funny... so we kept him around. Our friendship started when Johnny pulled me aside to talk about some relationship advice as we both were clueless with relationships. So, naturally, the blind led the blind. Since then we've been best friends. After many years of praying for ”the real thing”, and countless people telling me I would marry J, its happening. I had always said I would marry him in a heartbeat when those people suggested it even before we were dating, I just never thought it would actually happen cause you know... That's my best friend. Five years later, I get the outrageous opportunity to marry my best friend. - Steph

My best friend offered to take me to church one night, and I was really nervous because I had been to a few awkward churches before, but this church felt different; it felt like home. As I grew in faith and in this new family, I was able to have a heart to heart conversation with Steph on the steps of this house. We talked about some similarities we had in our past struggles, and ever since then, our friendship has grown exponentially. We lifted each other up in the Lord throughout the years we were friends. We prayed for each other relentlessly, and one night the Lord finally presented Steph to me as my wife. - Johnny
