Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would hope that you RSVP no later than January 12th. Please feel free to RSVP right on this site. You do have to put your name in the way we put it in so try your nickname first, such as Mike instead of Michael. Or... RSVP on the back of your invitation, take a picture, and text it to 702-539-4559.

Question

Where are you guys registered at?

Answer

We registered directly on this site and Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/Iceicebaby

Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

No later than 5:15pm, we suggest. The ceremony will start as close to 5:30 pm as we can manage. Neither of us have ever been timely, so we will do our best to get as close to 5:30pm as possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our theme is beach boardwalk so we ask that you dress at least business casual. Please make sure to wear comfortable clothing so that you can participate in all of the festivities. Hawaiian shirts are acceptable. Wearing only coconuts and a grass skirt are not. Flip flops are always cool.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Sort of. We've already spoken to the parents of the kids we are expecting. If you are flying in from anywhere, we recommend you don't bring your children as Vegas is the Disneyland for adults. There are a few things to do for kids but it's definitely more appropriate for hedonistic adults.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The event venue, Lucky Events, is located in the Town Square mall. The mall is located at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Sunset Ave. We have rooms at the Southpoint Hotel with the code ICE0216. Las Vegas Blvd is considered "The Strip" and is down the street. The closest hotels to the wedding venue are: Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make request?

Answer

Absolutely let someone know before the reception about any food restrictions. We are super friendly about that. It will be buffet style so you should be able to find things you can eat.

Question

Is there parking at the location for the wedding and reception?

Answer

Yes! The side of the mall where the venue is located has ample parking. Do not pay for metered parking. It is a racket.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the event location?

Answer

Unfortunately you will have to find your own way to get to the ceremony and reception. There are taxis, limos, Uber, and Lyft. There is public transportation, too. It should not be expensive to get a ride to the venue.

Question

Is it open bar and should I bring cash?

Answer

Everyone will get one free drink token. We anticipate that while most people will be able to get a drink during the cocktail hour, it may not be possible. Cash in your free drink token whenever it's convenient to you. Please bring cash as it will be a cash bar. Some non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. We also recommend that you bring cash to tip various entertainers throughout the night.
