We're Getting Married!

We are thrilled to announce that we are getting married on November 9, 2024! Our special day will take place at a beautiful open-air chapel. While we're eager to share this joyous occasion with you, we kindly ask that you keep the weather in mind and dress accordingly. Semi-formal attire is requested to match the elegance of the setting. Due to venue limitations, we are restricted in the number of guests we can accommodate. We respectfully ask that you honor the invitations and refrain from inviting additional guests. As many of you know, May 30th is a world holiday, McKenzie’s birthday. On that day in 2024, little did she know that her life would change forever. On that day, Johnathan asked McKenzie to marry him! While you know what she said (she said YES!), sit back, relax, and read about their blooming love. Their story is unique and full of love. It all started in early September of 2023 when they saw each other’s profiles on a dating app. Yes, you read that right; they met on a dating app. As they began to get to know each other, they soon realized they were ready to take this whole online chatting thing to the real world. So, on a beautiful evening in September, they met in person. Johnathan and McKenzie talked and talked, their smiles growing bigger with each passing moment. They both left that evening excited to see where things would go. In the weeks that followed, McKenzie had the privilege of meeting Johnathan’s son, Kyler, and she started to fall in love all over again. After many more dates, on October 23rd, Johnathan asked McKenzie to be his girlfriend! She, of course, said YES! Things became real! After taking their first trip together, their feelings grew more and more. When McKenzie got back, she told her best friend that she thought this was the man she would one day marry! Yes, it was quick, but when you know, you know. Johnathan and McKenzie have spent many months getting to know exactly who each other is. They love one another for their true selves—the good, the bad, the crazy, the sweetness, and so much more! They have built a strong foundation based on Jesus, respect, understanding, and an unwavering bond that continues to grow with each passing day. Their love story is not just about the big moments like proposals and first trips; it’s also about the little things. The way Johnathan makes McKenzie laugh, the way McKenzie supports Johnathan in everything he does, and the special bond McKenzie has formed with Kyler. They cherish their time together, whether its a grand adventure or a quiet evening at home. As they look forward to their future together, Johnathan and McKenzie are excited to continue building their life as a family. They dream of many more adventures, shared joys, and even the challenges they will face side by side.
