From Jess's POV: After only being IG friends for over a year, I was in St. Pete visiting the Tates (after a break up mind you) and JD "slid into my DM's" by commenting on my story and conveniently letting me know he recently moved to Naples for a project! After an accidental video call, I invited him to come to the Bengals vs Buccs game with us the next day, but informing him right away I had just gone through a break up and was not interested in anything! Boy did God have a different plan! Immediately I felt something I had never felt before! It was like I had known him forever and felt a sense of comfort right away (not to mention I was instantly attracted)! There was no denying there was something there to explore after that weekend. From the very beginning we've said it's been overwhelming and unexplainable and the feelings have only continued to be just that! (P.S. I stole the first kiss!) From Jessica's POV: So it all started with ring shopping! I found a ring I liked, but would have changed a couple of things! So, JD being the amazing man he is, went to a custom jeweler to have it made! He may have freaked out a bit not knowing if it was correct, so he spilled the beans! It was fun designing this ring together and I'm absolutely in love with the ROCK he chose, I mean WOW! So, my intuition was telling me he may propose on my birthday trip to Key West (such an amazing trip by the way), but the ring ended up not being ready! I had a feeling the next weekend when he came home, something might happen! That week I informed him, I had a date planned for him (he always does grand, romantic gestures for me, so I had to treat him)! Then, he told me the night before, he had a date planned for us Saturday afternoon downtown! We arrive in a not-so-nice part of town and walk around this building like we're waiting for something. Eventually we went into the building and got into the elevator where he blindfolds me, not before I catch a glimpse at the floor he chooses (I made sure to study the board outside the elevator quickly before we hopped in)! We were either going to a job interview (a marketing company) or "The Lumen Room". After waiting in the hallway for what feels like 30 minutes (it was more like 5), I'm escorted into a room where I hear footsteps and a camera. I'm then told to remove my blindfold and there I see my Prince Charming in the middle of a heart made out of rose petals are a "Marry Me" marquee! Straight out of a Hallmark movie! Now from JD's POV:
