We’re getting married!!

The love story began in an unsual way than most. Jordyn and Jeffery were both apart of an online website. Wouldnt you know it they matched. What seemed like hours later Jeffery messaged Jordyn commenting about Jordyns dog (Myah). This message, would soon unfold in to hour plus long conversations over the phone, countless text messages, and then setting up the first time they’d meet face to face. They met in the Ludington Meijer Parking lot for the very first time and as cliche as it may sound it was love at first sight for both of them. The evening was spent in Manistee with dinner at the Blue Fish, then a walk along the Manistee pier, to swinging on the swing set, and losing a pair of Jeff’s Oakley sunglasses (whoops)!

Over the next two years the couple bought a house together, went on a couple different vacations, hockey games, and so many other fun adventures. The two were inseparable! Then 2018 came and Jordyn was really hounding Jeffery about getting married. She had her mind set it was going to happen on certain days then those days would come and go with no ring. Finally a hockey game was coming up and last year Jeff had made a comment about how cool it would he if he proposed at a hockey game. Meanwhile Jordyn was anticipating that the hockey game was the day. Well the hockey game came and the hockey game ended still no ring. So Jordyn talked about it on the way home. The two woke up the very next morning as a normal morning, they both went there separate ways for the day of events. As Jordyns mom, sister and her were leaving a close friends daughters birthday, Jordyn had texted Jeffery saying she was on her home! Jeffery replied “Sounds good. I love you”. On the way home Jordyns mom just kept the conversation going about random things, which was unsual, she told us she had to stop at her bosses house because Jordyns brother needed some tool thing. So we went across Jimmys Bridge, which Jordyn thought to be odd but ignored it none the less. As we pull up to the Bridge Jordyn spots her dads vehicle and shes even more confused until as they come around the corner she sees Jeffery pacing underneath the bridge. She turns to her mom balling, saying “Really, Today!!”. Jordyn then gets out of the car barely able to walk down to the bridge because of the rubber feeling in her legs. She meets Jeffery crying, and he tells her how much she means to him ( she doesn’t truly remember what was said). He reaches into his pocket, places his jacket beneath him in cases he drops the ring and gets down on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage. She of course said yes!!!
