Our beloved bride! She and Josh have been together for 6 years and are excited to tie the knot! She has a degree in classical music for voice and loves to sing. She teaches preschool music and private music lessons. She also keeps up performing, writing, and directing.

Groom
Josh is our dashing groom! He is currently working on his Master's degree in Clinical Social work with aim to be a therapist. In his free time Josh plays video games, writes scripts, acts, and directs.
Edmund Pham
Ring Bearer
Edmund is the first kid in Jillana’s tight friend circle and they were so excited to welcome him! Edmund has come to the East coast for a couple trips and his parents (Kat and Chris) made sure to have him stop by and visit! Last year they took a trip to Maine and Boston together. Auntie Jillana loves making Edmund laugh and Uncle Josh loves watching Edmund play with Buttercup
Donna Gomez
Flower Girl
Donna is next door neighbor to Josh and Jillana. She has developed a special friendship with Buttercup, and comes with her mom Dana to check on her when Jillana or Josh have to work late. Donna used to call her bestie “Cuppit.” She knew Josh’s name but would call Jillana: “Cuppit’s mama.” Fun fact: her and Buttercup are the same age!
Kathryn "Kat" Pham
Matron of Honor
Kat has been Jillana's BFF for over 10 years now. They first officially met in choir when Jillana joined her junior year. Their friendship solidified when Kat threw Jillana her 21st birthday party. Unfortunately, the ants ate the birthday cake. They have been through a ton of life together, from first jobs, break ups, graduations, weddings, and the birth of Kat's first son. Jillana was Kat's maid of honor and now she's back to return the favor.
Taryn Kucey
Bridesmaid
Jillana likes to say that she met Taryn before Taryn met her because she was so excited to get a baby sister, she talked to her in the womb. She had a name picked out for her sister that her mom unfortunately didn't use: Ponga Bayba. Jillana picked out her best clothes and the finest eatery to go meet her sister. A McDonald's Happy Meal and a Goofy sweater. The two sisters are now inseparable and speak on the phone nearly every day.
Taylor Gonzaga

Jillana and Taylor met when they took a performance class together. Jillana could tell that Taylor was a kindred spirit, and they always seem to get in wacky capers together. From duct taping a car back together, driving across town for a sombrero rental, to stuffing an inflatable dolphin on a bus in Italy, the two have many stories of all the ups and downs they have faced together.
Danielle Kucey

At the time of description Danielle was the newest official addition to the Kucey family, but at the time of the wedding she will be surpassed by her son and Josh as official newest members! Danielle went to the same high school as Liam (Jillana’s Brother). Jillana, Liam, and Danielle were all in the same math class but they didn’t really notice her as she was in the corner hating math and trying not to be seen. Since Liam and Danielle married, Jillana and Danielle have become friends and sisters.
Nicholas “ Nikko” Belmonte
Best Man
Nikko has been one of the more important figures in Josh's life. He remembers when he first met Nikko as an infant and bopped him on his head. From there their brotherhood was solidified with fights about Mario Kart to anger when Josh chose to attack Jeff Hardy instead of celebrate with him. Nikko was a no-brainer choice for best man after that.
Jonas Belmonte
Groomsman
The youngest of the Belmonte clan, Jonas has made an impact on Josh's life since he was a baby. Josh can fondly remember Jonas crashing out after losing in Mario Kart and also riding on the back of an elephant with Josh. Jonas was an easy choice for a groomsman as he also shares a birthday with a brides' maid (Taryn) and Josh likes to keep things simple.
Matthew "Obi Wan" Francisco
Groomsman
“I haven't heard that name in quite sometime" - Ben Kenobi. Josh first met Matt in high school and they became quick friends. Matt has the patience of a saint after Josh tried to call the entire Book of Mormon cast to Matt's house and losing multiple times in MvC2. Matt voted Tom Cruise for President in 2024.
Nabeel “NB” Armanious
Groomsman
Nabeel was the first person Josh met in HS and they clicked instantly. Nabeel taught Josh many things such as Albert Frankenstein being the inventor of the nuclear bomb and how to put Doom on his PSP. Nabeel is one of Joshs oldest friends and Josh is internally grateful for all the lessons he learned.
Mark Kucey
Father of the Bride
Mark is Jillana's Father. She got her love of opera from him, and he took her to her first opera. He used to love to practice dancing with her, so when a song came up with a good beat he would show her the steps. They took dancing lessons and are excited to show your their father daughter dance.
Randa Kucey
Mother of the Bride
Randa inspired Jillana with her piano music. Jillana and Taryn used to dance to her music and pretend to be ballerinas. Jillana is so excited for you to hear her piano music at the cocktail hour. Randa and Jillana like to do art together and shop.
Brenn Kucey
BBB Brenn: Big Brother of the Bride Brenn
Brenn and Jillana had a rocky start to their relationship. Brenn was happy to be an only child and Jillana shook the whole thing up. He tried to scratch the new baby, and roared through her baptism. They have come a long way since then. Nowadays, there is no scratching and only occasional roaring. They love to visit each other, eat burritos, and play board games.
Liam Kucey
Getaway Driver
Liam will have the special job of driving around the happy couple. He has always been obsessed with things that go, had a train obsession, drove combines, and races in the "rambler 500." Jillana remembers when Liam was just a little boy looked up to his big sister. He wanted his toes painted like her, and wanted to join her in ballet class. He used to call her "Shoe wa nuh" when he had trouble pronouncing her name.
Sandra "Sandy" Lao
Mother of the Groom
Sandra is Josh's mom and she has been instrumental in his upbringing. Sandra used to read to Josh his favorite Bert and Ernie book before bedtime. Josh never forgot that. They've always tried to bring out the best in each other. Sandra is happy to have Jillana join the family.
Leonidas "Boogie" Belmonte
Father of the Groom
Leonidas was Josh's father before he passed away in 2005. Josh got his love of video games and reading from Leonidas. Josh still has no idea where his nickname origin of Boogie comes from so if anyone knows. . .
Hermine "Lynn" Aguilar
Step-Mother of the Groom
Hermine is Josh's step-mom and she has been in Josh's life since he was in kindergarten. Hermine made sure Josh was taken care of and loved. Josh remembers being the ringboy at Hermine and Leonidas (Josh's father) wedding and dropping the ring. Hopefully Josh and Jillana's ring boys won't repeat the same thing.
Jim Mondares
Step-Father of the Groom
Jim came into Josh’s life in his early twenties. Josh and Jim share a love of boxing, UFC, and basketball and can always be seen discussing sports. Buttercup was drawn to him right away, and loves her Lolo (Grandpa), often choosing to curl up and snuggle him during their visits. Josh is so grateful to have Jim in his life!
Pastor Blake
Officiant
Jillana and Josh first met Pastor Blake on Christmas when their flight to Oregon was canceled. Jillana was sad to miss Christmas Eve service at the church she grew up in, so she found a Lutheran church to try. Instantly, the church felt like home to Jillana and Josh, and that was made possible by Pastor Blake. Later he invited them to have dinner in his home and now Jillana and Josh are active members of the church.
