Our love, our union, and our forever started before we could have ever imagined. As summer 2023 came to an end, the most random and unexpected thing happened. Despite Jada and I not knowing one another, we sent a meaningless follow request to each other on Instagram. We had no idea that one simple tap on our phones would change both of our lives forever. From that moment on, we talked every single day. What started as casual jokes turned into long, deep conversations, phone calls lasting all night, and endless laughter. Before we even realized how our relationship was changing, good morning texts became a routine, and falling asleep on the phone became the only way to end our nights. Somewhere in between the jokes, the stories, and the hours that flew by entirely too fast, we found something so real. We found comfort in one another, understanding, and a connection that was effortless. The more we learned about each other and the closer we were drawn together, it became evident that this wasn’t a coincidence at all. It was the beginning of something so rare and irreplaceable. Summer 2024 was when we both knew this was forever. A simple trip to Jamaica with family and friends changed everything for the best. Our bond became unbreakable as we got to know each other on a level that made our future together become so clear. We shared endless experiences and emotions, we laughed together, explored together, and were introduced to new sides of one another. Being in Jamaica, away from our routine, made it undeniable. A simple trip solidified EVERYTHING. We undoubtedly knew we were meant for each other. From that moment forward, we stopped wondering what the future would look like and began dreaming about a future together as one. We became more than just best friends, we became partners, a team, and each other’s safe space. What started as two strangers on the internet turned into two hearts choosing each other for the rest of our lives. Now here we are building a life, planning a wedding, and stepping into forever hand in hand. This is our love story… and it’s only the beginning.
