FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jamie Reed and Jessica Wenig
Here's what we've been asked so far, please send any other questions our way. We want to the weekend to be care-free and enjoyable for everyone.
Question

Are you both wearing dresses?

Answer

This is the most frequently asked question. You will have to wait and see. :) Ricky Reed is designing the garments. It will be worth the wait!

Question

Should we expect anything different since it's a gay wedding?

Answer

Yes. You should expect to have more fun because after years of suppression, love is now legal and we have years of retroactive celebrating to complete.

Question

What kind of chairlift is it?

Answer

It seats 6 and has a bar that you'll pull down upon boarding. The chairlift is drastically slowed down so it's easy to board. You'll enjoy a leisurely ride up and then it's easy to hop off at the top. They stop the lift for each group to get on and off.

Question

I have a physical or cognitive impairment, can I still take the chairlift?

Answer

Yes, the chairlift is accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. Please let us know if you'd like to arrange another mode of transportation to the top and we will happily accommodate.

Question

I'm afraid of heights, do I have to take the chairlift?

Answer

Yes, unless it rains. It will be worth the ride with great views, a bar, and all of our favorite people at the top. We can provide liquid courage at the bottom if needed.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

If the weather forbids us from a mountaintop ceremony, we'll move to Crane Lodge instead.

Question

I have a food allergy, intolerance, or preference.

Answer

Please tell us. We'll make sure there is food that you can eat at each event.

Question

Will there be donuts?

Answer

Always.
