The couple met during 2017 volleyball season. Jameson was playing Varsity volleyball for Timpview High and Briggs was coaching the JV team after her first year of collegiate volleyball and softball. A year after Jameson graduated high school, he asked Briggs out to sushi but it “wasn’t a date”. The two of them talked for 2 hours at the restaurant BEFORE even ordering food. The chemistry was explosive. The two were inseparable the following weeks and made it official January 31st, 2019. Within a couple months they knew they were in love. Jameson made the incredible choice to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Lauderdale Florida. There were many tears shed throughout those two years but it only made the couple grow stronger together. During Jameson’s mission, Briggs graduated college and was working full time to try and make the time pass quickly. Jameson served fathfully for the two full years even through the pandemic. The couple had their sweet reunion March 2022. Jameson spent the summer traveling with family before he started school and volleyball at UVU. Briggs and Jameson have a shared passion for volleyball and enjoy playing and coaching together as often as possible. After a successful volleyball season for Jameson, Briggs was able to travel to Kansas City Missouri to watch the UVU team compete for a national title. Jameson’s team finished 4th in the nation in their division and Briggs thought for SURE Jameson was proposing on that trip. A few weeks later Jameson fully surprised her with the most intimate and personal proposal at Sundance mountain resort. And of course, she said yes!! The couple are now excited to spend eternity together and create a beautiful family and life together full of happiness and of course, volleyball.
