FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

1 August 2025

Question

Are we still cruising into matrimony?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. After much thought, prayer, and conversation, we’ve decided to move our wedding from the cruise to Astoria Banquets & Events in Buffalo Grove, IL on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Question

Can I still cruise?

Answer

You’re welcome to cruise if you wish, but it will no longer be part of our wedding celebration. If you booked the cruise with the $150 deposit or paid in full, you qualify for a full refund until 19 NOV 2025. Please reach out if you’d like help with cancelling.

Question

I didn’t RSVP by the deadline — can I still attend?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline was 1 AUG 2025, and we’ve booked our venue and finalized plans based on the confirmed guest list. With our budget fully committed, we’re unable to accept additional RSVPs. We’ll be sharing photos and memories so you can still celebrate with us from afar.

Question

Will there still be travel or hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be sharing nearby hotel options and any group rates on our wedding website soon. We want to make your trip as easy and comfortable as possible.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to dress in formal or semi‑formal attire that feels winter‑appropriate — think rich fabrics, elegant layers, and your best celebration style. Please avoid wearing our wedding party colors (deep red, white, and gold) so those shades can shine in the wedding party’s look. We can’t wait to see you looking fabulous and ready to celebrate!

Question

How can I help?

Answer

Your presence and joy are the greatest gifts. If you’d like to help in other ways, please reach out — we have a few special roles and tasks that would make the day even more memorable.

Question

I can no longer attend the wedding but can’t access the RSVP page — what should I do?

Answer

I can no longer attend the wedding but can’t access the RSVP page — what should I do? We’ll miss celebrating with you in person, but we truly appreciate you letting us know. If you can’t access the RSVP page, please text or call Jessica or Brandon directly so we can update our guest list and plans. Your thoughtfulness helps us make the day run smoothly.

Question

I don’t remember if I RSVPd on the site — what should I do?

Answer

No problem! Just reach out to Jessica or Brandon directly by text or call, and we’ll be happy to check for you. We want to make sure our guest list is accurate and you’re taken care of.

Question

I really want to celebrate — can I pay for my plate (and my guest’s plate)?

Answer

Your love and excitement mean so much to us! If you’d like to contribute toward your and your guest’s plates so you can join the celebration, you are warmly welcome to do so. Please contact Jessica or Brandon directly so we can coordinate the details. 💌
